Huskies a boot
Join us for our Homecoming events as we play the Hubbard Huskies at Rose Stadium on Tuesday, November 4th. The theme for the day will be to wear your red and boots as we give the Huskies a boot on the court and field. (jeans, western boots, winter boots, rain boots, boots, boots, boots) Homecoming Mums may be worn to school on that day.

The Homecoming Dance will occur that Friday, November 7th. Students must have their permanent ID badges to attend the dance, be in good standing at school with grades, behavior and attendance and pay $5.00 for the dance ticket. The dance is sponsored by the Moore cheerleaders.

Moore Orchestra Students
Image

On Saturday, October 18, Moore orchestra students auditioned for the Region 4/21 All-Region auditions. After a very competitive round of auditions, eight Moore students were selected to participate in the orchestra. To earn a chair in this orchestra they competed against students from Tyler, Longview, Marshall, Nacogdoches, Sulphur Springs, and many home school students so this is a big accomplishment for them and they worked hard to make it happen.

Reflections Program
It is time once again to get involved in this year's Reflections Program. The Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students with participation and appreciation for the arts as its goal. The theme this year is "The World Would Be a Better Place If..." The areas that students may submit works of art include: Literature, Musical, Composition, Photography, Visual Arts, Dance Choreography, and Film/Video Production. All entry forms and projects are due Monday, November 10th. There are specific guidelines for each entry. Many of your teachers will offer you extra credit for participating. Listen in class for details or ask the teacher from the subject area you are participating in through Reflections.
