Welcome to the J.R. Moore Math Science Technology Magnet School. Considered to be one of the premier middle schools, Moore is nestled in the Piney Woods of east Texas and houses grades 6 - 8. Our curriculum has a strong emphasis on Math, Science, and Technology and integrates these disciplines throughout the entire school culture. Casual Dress Incentive for All Grades 6-8th
All students who raise their grades on both the math and science portion of the post-end of year test that will be administered on May 22nd for Math and May 23rd for Science and are clear in the library with all books will be allowed to dress casual for the remaining portion of the year beginning Thursday, May 24th. First period teachers will notify students of their progress on the post-test for math and science.

CCC Club Cupcake Sale
MOORE Middle School! It's CUPCAKE time! Friday, May 4th will be the 1st day of our AFTER school sale benefitting the East Texas Food Bank. Buy a delicious cupcake for $1.00 and "feed a child!" Come see us in Room 7D (Homemaking) right after school and help someone get a healthy meal.
6th Grade Immunizations
Just a reminder to all parents/guardians/students in Grade 6----please bring your UPDATED immunization record to the school nurse or have your doctor's office fax it to the school. If you do not have your immunizations you can get more information here.
